The Friendship 3 is an ultralight aircraft with tandem seats, engineered in France and Switzerland, and finally assembled in Czech Republic by Ivanov Aircraft. Inspired by 1950s and '60s aircraft and motorgliders, the Friendship 3 is a two-place tandem ultralight aircraft with dual controls so that the rear seated passenger can also fly. The Friendship 3 has outstanding handling qualities as well as being a cross-country machine. With a glide ratio of 20 it is also an aircraft conceived for glider flying. The Friendship F3A has a composite fuselage; and wood and fabric for the wings with the main spars in carbon fiber.
